Particularly noteworthy is the commitment made by the Prime Minister of Vietnam during the 2021 United Nations COP26 conference, where he announced significant commitments regarding climate change mitigation, necessitating energy transition and economic restructuring. This demonstrates the government’s commitment to ESG principles.
Businesses’ Interest: Enterprises in Vietnam are progressively embracing the significance of ESG principles. The adoption of ESG standards offers the potential for generating enduring value, enhancing corporate reputations, and appealing to investors and customers with a vested interest in ESG. Firms also appreciate that ESG equips them with the tools to proficiently manage risks and advance sustainable growth.
ESG Implementation in Organizations: Implementing ESG holds different meanings for each organization. To leverage the potential of ESG, organizations need to integrate it into their organizational strategies, thereby improving their business models. This not only helps them meet ESG requirements but also promotes sustainable development and benefits society.
Although ESG has garnered widespread attention in Vietnam, there are still challenges to overcome, including insufficient understanding of ESG and difficulties in effective implementation. However, these efforts are being viewed as investments in Vietnam’s future and sustainable development.

Môi trường, Xã hội và Quản trị (ESG – Environmental, Social, and Governance) đã nổi lên như một xu hướng quan trọng tại Việt Nam trong thời gian gần đây. Được coi là tiêu chuẩn quan trọng để đánh giá tính bền vững và trách nhiệm xã hội của các tổ chức, ESG đã trở thành mối quan tâm hàng đầu của cả chính phủ và doanh nghiệp.
Mối Quan Tâm Của Chính Phủ: Chính phủ Việt Nam đã thể hiện một mức độ quan tâm đáng kể đối với ESG. Họ thúc đẩy các chính sách và quy định liên quan đến bảo vệ môi trường và quản trị tốt.
